Glacio concentrates on designing ice cream solutions for the homevending (door-to-door) and gastronomy (commercial foodservice) markets in Europe and Asia.
The world of ice cream manufacturers roughly knows two extremes.
One is the "one product/one factory" solution. An extreme concentration on a limited number of products allows high capital investment to produce large volumes at low prices. This solution lacks flexibility.
The other extreme is the local handmade ice cream, creating special, unique products for special, unique clients, thus offering lots of added value in limited quantities. Here, the flexibility is extreme, but the price level is accordingly high.
Glacio tries to create a maximum of added value for a large number of ice cream products, at a reasonable price in the lower industrial quantity range. Flexibility, together with technological know-how are key elements to achieve this.
